To help keep our environment clean and safe we have developed a wetland system to manage the waste water from the washbay at our Sebringville yard. This new concept uses wetlands to naturally clean dirty water from the washbay. the water is then filtered back into the environment. This project was done in conjunction with the Upper Thames Conservation Athority.
Luckhart Transport Ltd. has participated in developing an environmental farm plan for our property. To start with, in the spring of 2009 more than 4500 trees were planted on eight acres of the farm. In 2011, the wetland system was rebuilt and enlarged.
